Why would Broadway be lazy?

Hello,

I might have had some apprehensions myself when the rumor initially broke, but have to say that while some of the criticisms I'm on board with pertaining to the run, the shocking criticism I see on the net is that this stint is lazy. Can't for the life of me understand how Bruce having to put some thought and feeling and emotion into something he's never done before is lazy.

Any ideas?
